Looking for a fun and active way to get to know your neighbors or make new friends? Austin Ranch Softball offers both! We field both Coed and Men’s teams, which play Monday through Thursday evenings in the Plano Parks & Recreation Softball League. About 100 residents played on eight teams last year, so don’t miss out! It’s all for fun and a great time.

The first Thursday of every month, all Austin Ranch residents are invited to come to Zen for an official Austin Ranch resident happy hour from 6-9pm.

There will be $3 you-call-it drink specials, a free taco bar and a live DJ.  Bring your friends or meet some new ones!

The rules are simple.  Your friend must:

• Tell the leasing agent they were referred by you
• Put your name on the application & guest card
• Pay their first full month of rent

It’s that simple!

Simply send us a high resolution photo of you & your friends enjoying any of the amenities at Austin Ranch – your apartment, the gym, pools, restaurants, parks, dog areas, barbecue grills, hiking trails, the lake, coffee shop – anywhere you’re having a good time.  (If you’re taking the photo with your phone, make sure the camera resolution is set to at least 2048 x 1216 or higher.)  And make sure any friends that are in the photo with you are aware that it could be on a billboard before you email it to us.

Email the image to us at billboards@austinranch.com & add a comment/caption for your photo, just like you would on Facebook.

There is typically a lot of down time between cooking a huge meal & stuffing our faces during the Thanksgiving holidays. Here are a few things to help pass the extra time this Turkey Day.

VOLUNTEER
You can help the needy right in our own community. Lone Star Coffee Bar is opening its doors on Thanksgiving to help feed those in need as well as those who don’t have any family to spend the holiday with.  They are looking for help, whether it’s donating money, bringing food or serving meals – and all volunteers are of course welcome to join in the feast as well.  So bring your famous holiday dish & join in the fun while you give thanks and give back!

SHOP
Thanksgiving has become synonymous with Black Friday – the biggest shopping day of the year. Many stores are opening at midnight on Thursday so that the bravest (or craziest) of shoppers can score the big discounts. Lucky for you, the biggest malls in Dallas are just a short drive from Austin Ranch – The Shops at Willow Bend, Stonebriar Centre and The Galleria will have special holiday shopping hours.  Or for those who don’t have the stomach to brave the malls, wait for Cyber Monday to score the best deals online.

PLAY
Get some fresh air & work off those extra calories.  The Village Green in the heart of Austin Ranch makes the perfect flag football/soccer/frisbee field.  And we have miles of hiking/biking trails throughout Austin Ranch – so grab your dogs & your loved ones and explore the natural beauty of Austin Ranch’s Ravine.  See our map for trail entry points.

Come to Centro to watch the Cowboys game – they are hosting a Thanksgiving Day buffet with free food during the game from 3-6pm.
